Haunui sheep fibre is grown in the foothills of South Canterbury in New Zealand and is a stunning fibre to work with.
This particular braid of pure Haunui Fibre is lovely and bouncy at around 26.4 micron.
This breed has a nice staple length that is lovely to spin and will result in a bouncy yarn.
*** This batch releases a bit of dye when rinsing. Not a huge amount, and it may settle over time. But I am unsure and don't want to charge full price for the fibre in the case that it continues to release a bit of dye. Each braid is a final sale.
Each braid is approximately 100g and untreated. Hand wash only.

Photos have been taken to represent the colours as accurately as possible, however, please understand that all screens show colour a little differently and your yarn may look different in the squish. If you have questions about colours, please feel free to ask, and I will aim to describe them for you as best I can. All yarns have been hand-dyed and stored in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
